Making it better? Might I suggest that you make a 3 wheeler out of it. The tricycle configuration is so much better for working row crops. I think Yamaha missed something there, as it is not just being wider so that you don't mush the plants flat. You need to also distribute the weight between all of the rows such that you minimize soil compaction.   HaHaHa.......

Imagine if a coupany widens that thing out enough to get 14-15" of travel out of the suspension... its gunna be as wide as a dually truck lol

i think they will build on that platform once they get the bugs out of the chassis. everybody's goin 84" wide

you aught to be able to run wide open into a 90 degree curve and not have any issues lol

From what I have seen I am glad I have many years of dependable service left in my Rhino.

me and the wife were thinking about something new, but the new Viking wont fit into a pick up box, to wide, its wider than a commander I do believe!

any1 else hear about a 950 twin sport utv coming out the 22nd of this month?
I was talking to a guy I know and he is in good with the Yamaha dealer here
he and his famly buy new rhinos and grizzleys quit often
he told me the dealer said wait till the 22nd and we should see a 950 twin
I think they are gonna have it at some big 4x4 event in tx?
I am shure its just rumors he was also told they r gonna have a few in grand rapids here in mn
around the same time?
I kinda have a lil bit of hope but not very much

well what ever they build, someone will like it or hate it but ill still have my 08 for awhile. its paid for and im happy with that.

I looked them over pretty good today and there a few things I like and a few things I really don't like.  Likes -
gated shifter
better door handles
the optional front bumper looks good
Dislikes -
twist 4x4 knob, wth is up with that
Big Horn 2.0's, why not OG's
looks like the bed is way too far off the ground
most of all i hate the huge gap between the tires and top of the fender

I am so glad I paid off my 08 700.  Now I can save my money and do more mods rather than buy this hideous p.o.s.  I think when the time comes to "upgrade" I'll just keep what I got and add another brand to the family. 

Unless of course they come out with a sport version that's looks nothing like this Viking.

and it from the picture I saw they FINALLY added an extra oil line to cool the stator...will it fit on my 700??
The dumb engineers look like they decided to use those extra mount holes in the rear differential so maybe the flat nosed fat bench seat Vikings won't have the mount hole wallard out issues.....

nothing yet but I just got home
if I hear anything I will let ya all know but I don't have much hope
