Super ATV rear diff brace?

Wife bought me the diff brace. Said she got it on clearance and surprised me, so I could not argue. I almost feel like a dumb azz, but I need a little help. I called and emailed today, but no one got back with me yet. It came with a large plate, which I guess replaces the stock skid plate and the bracket attaches to it and the diff? Almost has to go that way. What is strange they shipped 4 bolts, which I guess replaces the stock one only the stock has 6 and is counter sunk, their plate is not. No biggie, I counter sink myself and just reuse the stock bolts. One more thing, I got to enlarge most of the holes to get it to line up. I can't complain for the cost, just wondering if anyone else had any problems.

POS! About to chunk in creek. Not wasting anymore time on it. It could only go one way and only 2 holes line up. I guess that is the reason it is on sale. When I do get the plate up on the frame, the way the bracket is angled it puts a lot of pressure on the rear diff. By the time I re drill holes and go buy button head style bolts I could have bought the one everyone else is using. I have had good service with Super ATV with my Honda's ( bought 2 different front disk conversation kits and a ton of other stuff) so I have dropped some dough with them and everything has always been spot on. Not this hunk of wasted metal. I can't return cause I wallowed out the holes trying to get it line up! Oh well, lesson learned. I would be more pissed if had cost full price...

The more I think about it, it is not a good design. If the front of the metal plate (remember it replaces the stock one) hangs a rock or something and shears the 6 small bolts that hold it to the frame, that heavy plate is now being held by that one bolt in the rear diff. My bet it would crack or bust the crap out of the diff. Done with it. Man wish I had a welder...

Are you sure it goes on the bottom?  My diff brace went on the top. It's a different company but still. Pics would help a lot. And mine had 4 bolts also.
