News from the doctor today

I was supposed to get all my pins taken out today but the biggest break in my finger wasn't healed enough.  They were only able to remove the 4" pin going down to my wrist.  As of right now I am unable to move my pinky at all.

Already looking better, one more month maybe? You may have the feeling back in your pinky soon I hope.

It is looking better glad to see thangs are looking up for you though. Every visit to the doc will get a little better from here on out.

I flipped my rhino and got my hand crushed by the cage.  6 breaks total on my pinky and ring finger.

Looking better and better,i have been thru this myself.got my index and middle fingers caught in a flat gripnotch belt and it took both fingers around the pulley and mashed the ends off,had to go thru sugery,afterwards it took a while before I could move them again,but everything is good now...except for having 2 funky looking fingers..lol

Dude, I feel for you! I really mean that because when I see someones injury, it leaves a feeling in my gut that I can't describe. I can gash myself and it never bothers me, but let it happen to someone else and my gut gets all tied in knots. Hope that everything works out well for you!!! I could never be a doctor!

thanks for all the well wishes.  things are getting better daily.  they put me in a new splint yesterday that i can get off and on and i started physical therapy yesterday too.  i have 25% movement in my ring finger and 0% movement in my pinky.  the last 2 pins come out tuesday and i cant wait.

Its going to take a while be patient.

Wait till they have you jam your hand in the sand and move it around. Lots of fun. Lol

More good news today.  I have officially met my yearly out of pocket maximum on my insurance so for the rest of the year it just costs me copays.

That's good to here that has to take some stress of you.
