| I'm looking for an iPone app that will track and save ride routes. Has anyone had any experience with such apps or have any recommendations?
Thanks, Tony | |

| Thanks all...
Rodney, I downloaded Everytrail, I think this is just what I'm looking for. I want to use it on The ride in 2 weeks to document our routes each day.

Tony Just a side note Tony on the use of your Iphone for GPS tracking........you better have the charger plugged in as it will drain your battery ALOT faster than normal. No way you could ride more than 4hrs without it being plugged in even on full charge.

| I love my gps. it never needs batteries , never looses signal , 100% waterproof , 100% reliable and didn't cost me a dime. it really is the best gps available. and peple have been using it from the beginning of time. its called the sun and stars and remembering landmarks you have previously passed. | |

| I use a Spot. works great, but a little overkill just to track routes as it requires a subscription. I use it as a CYA when sledding deep in the back country. | |

Oh I agree Mike....I have an internal GPS. Was wanting to track the ride in a few weeks is all. Just to document where we've been, not so much for directions... It's all about paying attention to what you are passing and common sense...

It's all about paying attention to what you are passing and common sense... yeah I got ya. too many people go out and put 100% trust in them things. and then get pissed when there lost. I don't trust electronics! that's why my rhino has a carburetor.

| I have sometimes been called the human GPS by my friends while riding or hunting. One time when I was ducking hunting in the woods I told my buddy how to get to the hole and he told me I was wrong thats not what the gps says and I said well I know I am right so we walked around for an hour following him to prove my point and once it was daylight I was in fact right and I havent used a gps since then while hunting!!! However put me in town and ask me to give you directions GOOD LUCK my gps only works in the woods..... | |
