| To be honest with you I can't remember where we were lol but our guide was Paul Ambrose from great north western river guides and he put us on some fish, we met up on the Washington side but I forget what town it was. The best part was it was my Birthday trip and I hooked that big Bastard and it was the best fishing trip ever especially when the biggest fish I caught before was a 10lb Cat. | |

| Thanks, it was a blast or Guide had boat problems before it all started, 2 flat tires someone stole his fish finder his smaller kicker motor broke. We were supposed to hit the river at 7:00 am and by the time we got on the water was noon. I was pissed and thinking with a broken kicker, 2 flat tires, stolen fish finder and half a day gone but I tell you what this young (around 24) kid Paul really knew where the fish were and our full day turned into a half day because of all of the trouble but in 4 hrs catching over 50 fish was simply amazing and I had the time of my life. When we do it again Paul is the man I'm calling. | |

| There are giant sturgeon caught all up and down the pacific coast of North America, Columbia and Frazer rivers a couple of the largest, there are rumors of fish in the Frazer 20ft,1,832 lbs. The record rod and real that I have see is 12.4 ft and 1,100 lbs caught on the Frazer by an English fisherman. There is one stuffed in the Vancouver aquarium 2,000lbs. There is a program to introduce farm raised sturgeon into the Columbia river in the hope they will be ready to fish by 2040. Great pictures guys. | |
