PostSubject: Muzzy Whisper Cores too quiet and kill too much power.    Tue Sep 24, 2013 3:10 pm

The Muzzy's are too loud for the wife so I bought the Whisper Cores. They really quiet them down but they also kill the power. Is there a happy medium? Can the Whisper cores be modified just a bit? Thanks

How loud will that make it? If I could get between stock and stock Muzzy's I would be good.

The whisper cores SUCK...until you drill the hole in them like James said. I thought they were too loud , like your wife...when I put the whispers in , I didn't like that neither.  The compromise , is to drill the 1/2 inch hole in the baffle plate. It'll be louder than stock ; but , it will not be annoying loud by any means !!
