| From what I understand the gear diference is in the trans gears not the front and rear diffs. Don't know if they will change out or not. As for swapping in the 660, it seems to me that it couldn't be to bad. I thought about all of that when I had my 450. After riding it for 4 yrs and getting offered 5k trade in, I had to let her go. I still wonder how good a 450 can run with some port work, cam, piston, and bigger carb. | |

| I'm starting to think if the 660 engine basically could be dropped into the 450 geared chassis you'd still not get the lower geared 450 with bigger displacement. Because the lowered gearing is in the 450's engine anyway, so all you'd end up with is a 660 engine in a 450 chassis, and it'd respond the same as a 660, nothing magic about that. Whatzz ya say?????? | |

| Kenny,I believe your assessment to be correct... I also think my Kodiak is geared lower than my Rhino. | |

| the big question is if the 450 transfer gears will fit the 660 ? if so I see more bottom end back for the ones running the bigger heaver tires . the only thing is if your not doing a case split already what a job just to change the gears | |
