Mamma's Pink Rhino build

Thanks for the # Crusty..I will give him a call.."Been there on stripping layers of paint"'.  I used to refinish furnure, before the new improved paint remover,lol..also getting some other good ideas on where to look..would like to try to fix this myself ( with everybodys help here,lol)..that way if I do have any future problems, I will have some exp on where to look..Danny

Got all of the plastics painted all Purdy and when I sprayed the clear coat on today all of my hard work just started cracking and seperating. 
I guess Krylon fusion clear coat is not meant to be sprayed on the fusion paint it's only to clear coat the plastic it's self. WTF???
There goes $60 worth of paint and God knows how many hours of sanding and scraping.

It's all good, I think I can wet sand it and save most of it. 
Word of advice guys if you paint with Krylon Fusion do NOT clear coat it with the Fusion clear coat.

I hit it with some 600 grit and wet sanded it this morning and I think I may have saved it. 
Man I'm sure glad I don't have to redo all that shit again.

The motor is going in to get built this week, just a mild build nothing fancy. 
Maybe just a hotrods crank and rod and perhaps a cam but that's about it for the Pink Rhino. 
Well depending on how much extra for some other goodies, middle drive gear support is a must right?
Since it's being split better at least do that. Well maybe a stroker but no more lol
I guess we'll have to wait and see when it comes apart.

so just a 734 stroker,lol ... so are we going to see a Rotax in your rhino this spring.. If I can ever get mine running like they others I hear about,..I may look at building mine..Danny

I talked to James on the phone today because I wanted him to do the build but the shipping was the killer so it's getting done locally. 
Can't be letting Mamma be faster than me so if it gets too wild it's going in the short bus and she will get my motor lol
