| Hi guys and gals. I'm not new to rhinos; I bought my 08' new in May of 08'. I haven't ridden it much in the past few years. I has only 835 miles and 119 hours on it. My wife and I are certificated sport pilots (that means we each have a pilot's license) and we love to fly, that's why we haven't been riding the rhino the past 3 years. I do start it regularly, let it warm up, and then take it down the road and run it WOT for a mile or two, then cool it down and put it back in the garage. I do this about every month or two.
But reading this forum has got the juices flowing again and I'm getting the urge to start riding.
My rhino is nothing special.
08' 700, raptor stage 1 cam, Wiseco 11:1 piston, head studs, MSD FI with HW maps, full Muzzy, 16gr OD greaseless weights, OEM sheave, tach and UTV concepts gauges, Electra power steering, and much more.
Reading here I see that grease is now the way to go. I bought my OD weights from HW when they first came out, and grease was a no-no then. I'm going to try the grease now, after reading this forum.
My top speed in Low is 45mph, and 62 mph in high with a full windshield and roof. But I seem to remember that it would top out at 67 with the stock tires and wheels years ago, but with the Douglas beadlocks and 26" Big Horns, 62 is about it.
Anyway, sorry for the long introduction, I just didn't want everyone to think that I was still wet behind the ears, though I do have a few questions that I'll ask, in the appropriate section of course.
