I am thinking of installing front spacers,1-2 inch what are your thoughts on this.Is there going to be too much bump steer or bearing problems.

I think it wouldn't be a bad deal. more stable and you already have fender flares so you're covered there.

it would stress the bearings more. especially since they take more abuse. but I'm not sure how much faster it would make them wear out. I would think that with an inch spacer it wouldn't be drastic. as for the bump steer, I'd hope that someone with front spacers or LT or MT that doesn't have power steering chimes in

I haven't noticed any ill effects from running 1'' spacers on the front.. with all the sand and mud down here it would be hard to tell about bearings.

Martin, I've ran 2" spacers on my 06/450 for several years and have seen no problem with the wheel bearings or steering. I feel that it's given me much better stability on off-camber situation. The reason I went with the 2" spacers on all 4 corners was I went with a 3" lift and wanted to even out the bike. I've enjoyed the spread and lift both.

How about 1.5" spacers? I put them on my '12 700 four months ago. Haven't noticed anymore or any less bump steer, but does feel more planted in the off camber turns. 1.5's brought the front wheel stance out even with the back.
