PostSubject: 2006 HID Conversion   Wed Dec 11, 2013 4:38 pm

Anyone have a recommendation for a HID Conversion to the 2006's?  I would really like to get a kit that  has Hi/Lo, and also has a decent mount.  From what I was able to find, it looks like the kit that SideXSide Customs had was the hot ticket, but it looks like they are not around any more.

They are around just takes some searching to find him. He is a good guy. Got mine from rigid. Had to upgrade to newer light housing to be able to get the high/low. Very simple swap and would highly recommend the rigid kit. Got mine from benchmark.

I have a set in my Rhino...but i would say you might want to rethink it. They are an improvement over the stock headlights no question. BUT I would go with some lights from Flimmy. I did a 10" light bar and you cant even tell the HID's are on when that is on. Plus it draws less power than the HID's do also (and we all know the Rhino's charging system is nothing to write home about). Or if you want to stay with headlights do the round LED conversion that has been going on around here for the last little bit. You will be better off in the long run.
