PostSubject: The Rhinojet has landed.    Fri Apr 12, 2013 8:00 pm

Well, i left at ohhh dark thirty this morning for the 200 mile plus drive to the Mecca of Rhinos. Mt Hope West by God. When i got there James and Nikki were out doing a final tune up run on the Rhinojet. Last month i drove it with the CDI, Bazzaz tuner, sheave, 16 g weights and cam for the spring wvsxsriders ride. 0-40 i felt like i stayed up with any RZR or RZR S. I know we ran it up to 59 but the acceleration above 40 was steady but not as good as the first 40 mph. Today we drove it with the reworked throttle body and a purple spring and the low - mid range punch was awesome. we only ran it to 51 mph today but that was due mainly to short straight aways that lead to sharp tight ass turns. (thanks for using the brake pedal james---lol). I'm running 26" Interco Retiles and ITP bead locks which is a heavier tire than the Big Horns and the ITP bead locks are certainly heavier than the stock aluminum wheels. I wish i had made a video of it prior to the throttle body and purple spring but i'm sure Hump can post his 2012's video, they were like 2 peas in a pod. Hopefully next weekend i can make a video for you guys with the current mods. It is truely amazing how much power is left wasted in that motor from the factory. i think i have turned into a Rhino JBS Power junky>>>ok, i'm sure. before i left today we talked about building the motor in stages. Most likely next will be the ported and polished heads with a bore kit. I believe james said 747, correct me if i'm wrong James and then late this year the crank and rod.

James and Nikki, thanks for all your help with the Rhinojet, i absolutely LOVE it. It is Awesome.

Now that you got it home, you and Jack can set in the garage at night and admire it. That ended up being one sweet looking ride, and now it runs good too. Nice build!

I plan on riding somewhere weekend after next. I've been a riding fool the last few weeks. Slow at work, so I've had some Fridays off along with short paychecks. Short paychecks + lots of riding = Hump is just about broke. I've got almost 900 miles on mine already.

lol! I put 70+ on it once a week since I got it back from James. It had 400 when I got it back. I went down there a few times to ride while it was there. All the gas money went in the tank of the truck.

Oops, I told you guys wrong. I have 700 miles, not 900. Makes me happy! I must have had my beer goggles on last time I looked.
