Sport resi shock HELP

Got a new set of sport resi shocks. Installed and then tested...went to adjust rebound on front passenger and the screw just clicks and clicks. Never gets tight.....need help! Is it shot? Something I can fix? I have a trip planned for this coming weekend!

the screw should stop one way or the other, at least mine did. are they new or new to you?

They are new to me. This is the second time I have adjusted them. The first time it stopped fine. This time when I went to go to max clockwise it just kept going.
