| from what i'm reading, ashland has the necessary permits. there is also a mandatory helmet requirement on the Hatfield-McCoy trail system. anybody know if you can get by without permits and helmets on the outlaw trails? | |

anybody know if you can get by without permits and helmets on the outlaw trails? Nope ... we have been through check points where they check for helmets, permits & make sure there is no alcohol in the cooler. I'm thinking we don't really have to ride the H/M trails & that we could just ride outlaw .... | |

| Outlaw trails outlaws are welcome. LOL H&M is helmets required and you can get permits at Ashland campground if we end up riding those trails. | |

| Im in guys! Talked to the wife last night and told her i was going. She wont be going and I doubt my kids will come either so i have room for passengers (4 seater) if someone needs a lift. Also depending on if anyone is carpooling with me depends on the truck/trailer set up i will bring. I have a trailer that will hold 2 side by sides no problem and maybe 3 (i will have to measure and check). If anyone wanted to load on and go with they are welcome. Either meeting at my place and leaving your truck or me swinging by and getting you i would be good with that. If there are no takers with that though i will just bring my small trailer that only holds my rhino. If anyone wants to do that just PM me.

| if a kid is on a atv the kid must be of the correct size atv per mfg guidelines. as for passanger in a sxs no booster seats , no child seats and the childs back must touch the back of the seat and there feet must touch the floor. total f-in bullshit if you ask me. my kid is safer in my rhino than my damn truck. snitty little attitude wanted to reach thru the phone and slap her. | |
