| I picked up the Pyle 4 channel 100 w amp with ipod/mp3 plug in and would like to mount it in the glove box. Is there anything special I should do to waterproof the glove box, silicone or those little hole plugs for any holes I have to make for wiring?
How about mounting the amp, just screw it to bottom of glove box and call it good, or use a type of backing plate maybe, or similar?
Now to speaker wiring, first do I need to silicone the terminals on the speaker once the wires are attached? they are marine speakers. Can I drill holes in roll bar to hide wires inside it?
If there's any other tips or tricks you guys might find helpful for hooking up the amp and speakers please tell, I'm a complete novice on this stuff.
Thanks!! | |

| The amp itself is waterproof but I did silicone the holes I drilled in the glove box to the wires threw. And I ran my wires out of the side of the glove box and up the roll cage by using mig wire from my welder worked really well. And silicone never hurts on the wiring alot of bouncing going on shrink tube works good too. | |

| mine is under my roof. cut 2 pices of plywood and jam them between top rollbars screw them in the corners and now you have a nice mounting spot for your things that shouldn get wet. | |

| As long as you don't put the glove box underwater, you should be good. Seal all the exterior holes and keep it closed. Yea, post some pics for other that wanna do the same thing. Everyone loves pics. | |
