well we made it through the surgery good , just have to keep healing thanks all for your prayers, be sleeping in this nice hospital chair tonight ,online till the laptop runs outa juice, thanks again

came home to get a shower infection is slowly leaving as is redness still waiting for bowle functions but hearing sounds going back in awhile to spend the night shes really scared ,supposed to be same day surgery now day 12 we both anxious to say the least, thanks all for asking and prayers

o yea today is our 13 anniversary nice place to be for that huh

Happy anniversary, I am sure as long as you and her are side by side right now you will be very happy. You will have plenty of time to celebrate when this is all over. Keep the faith and may God bless both of you.

i am a medical/surgical Rn and i have had several patients with similar conditions as your wife (no offense). i am sure she is in the best of hands, you two might be there for a little longer but it is for her own good. i can understand her anxiety, no one wants to be in the hospital, they suck. you can brighten her day like bring her a home cooked meal from home or carry out from her fav restraunt. hospital food is pretty bland and tasteless. i have seen this brighten the days of many people in the hospital. and happy anniversary to you two!!!!! if you have questions, you can PM me and i will try to answer them best i can.

shes being fed through a pic line until her bowle function starts back up nothing bu ice chips being really hard on her shes a nurse also but not med surg but she now to much for her own good thanks will pm maybe when im back at hospital also alittle edema in legs now because of albumin deficencey
