so my rhino has bern sittin for two days, today iI go to move it and it won't start. it has spark and as far as iI can tell it is getting gas. cranks over good and backfires but no start any help?

oh yeah its a 06 660

It may have lost its prime. I put a prime bulb on mine and when it sits for a few days i just pump out and it starts right up

its never had this prob i can see gas half way up the filter and can pull the line off the carb and gas runs out..

Is it a stock pump?

yeah its all stock

Check your tank for any gunk floating around the bottom, make sure your fuel pickup isn't cracked( I broke mine when I was installing the seats and didn't know till later. You could try pressurizing the tank through the vent line with an air compressor(just a enough to push some fuel and not blow anything) to see if your pump is bad. Hope this helps ya out, nothing worse than not knowing your problem.

iI pulled the outlet hose off the pump and it seemed to be pumping..it sucks its been a bad month for the rhino iI just fix something then something else breaks. this time iI have no idea what or how to fix it. thanks

something else with you saying it backfires , more than just getting fuel to it . plug ,timing, valves settings------flooding if raw gas is in pipe could do it to, just my thoughts good luck

if it has fire and gas check the flywheel key to see if it sheared....

iI had the filter off for a second still wont do anything. I'm not sure how to check the flywheel. i will lopk into that after work

get it up on tdc with a straw then see if the timing marks line up

Before you dig too far put in a new spark plug. I see this alot too...will spark outside the engine but when you put it in it will backfire and not run just as described. If this doesn;t fix it dig deeper.

checked the air filter, spark, changed plug, seems to be getting gas stills just turns over. the flywheel and timing check is out of my skills I think... it might be time to haul her to the stealer and let them pillage my village and wait two weeks

iI pulled the air filter off one more time and put my hand over it to see if it was sucking it was and blowin my hand was covered with gas after a couple of cranks is this normal

intake valves need adjusted or the fly wheel key...call me tomorrow and i will guide you through it...you can do it

Its alive!!! Thanks to james! I checked my flywheel seemeed good so I adjusted my valves they were tight as shit! Got her back together it started right up made alittle clank noise but smoothed out and sounds good...i would have never thought my retarded ass could do it thanks everyone... I'lll take it out tomorrow for a test ride.
