| OK, Time for the ugly little brother to chime in. I bought a sheave from FIX power sports about 4 yrs ago. That's why my signature says "aftermarket sheave". First when it was stock 64kmh , then I put in CDI went to 85kmh on the rev limiter. Then I put in this sheave and its been to 98kmh and no rev limiter with a blue spring. Changed the blue to a orange and it accelerates way better seems a little revy been to 90+ kmh but way ok with it. My question is is this sheave a POS compared to James' sheave or am I close enough to save a $$. I'm pretty sure the answer will be get the Hot Rod sheave But I'm thinkin what I have is working. Is there more in there???? | |

| there is a reason JBS is #1. but if you are happy I wouldnt worry, but eventually you will get tired of hearing about it and experience it for yourself | |

| Ok so I'm going with the kit from James, pm sent btw. While I'm in there, should I slug the clutch as well? Any tricks on the disassembly or assembly? I've seen the vids and write ups on how to do the slugging but can't find anything on how to remove and install...besides the nut being left hand thread.
I know this should be in the clutching portion of tech stuff but it's your guys' fault we got sidetracked. Lol. | |

| So I installed everything James sent...gold spring and 16s. Absolutely love the bottom end power but......having trouble getting any more out of the top end. Top speed on a flat gravel road was 38 mph on GPS. I talked to James and he figured the belt might be wore out. Checked the specs and it measured at 31mm with no cracks but I changed it out anyway. It goes from 0 to about 34 strong but the last little bit take forever it seems like. Any ideas? | |
