| Do you have a temp guage? If so does it run any cooler? | |

| Yes I do have a temp guage. It definitely ran cooler until it fills with mud. I have since relocated to above headrests. Stays below 180 always now. | |

| Looks sound. I like the temp gauge part. Only one way to find out. Might wanna ask them if you can get replacement fans | |

| I think everyone should put a temp guage in. You would be surprized how hot they get after going through mud. Light does not come on until around 250 degrees. | |

| for the fan with a shroud, radiator and oil cooler all new I don't think you can beat it... if its decent quality. Ive bought a lot of other Chinese stuff off ebay that has worked great... half the time its just the no name version of a name brand piece. Im gunna try it out I guess before long... I don't see me riding anytime soon so It will probly be a while | |

| Does it hold the mud in with the black plastic around it? It look great but I was thinking that that black plastic around it might make it difficult to clean it, is this why you relocated it? | |

| the shroud has nothing to do with the mud, you cant shove mud thru your radiator period... once it clogs up, you will run hot.... some small cuts in the bottom of the shroud will help the trash get out of the radiator when you clean it but cleaning it is the only way you will make it not run hot.... so you have to clean the radiator often.... | |

| Got the cheapest ebay radiator I could find. It was almost an exact replacement.
On eminor issue was my overflow hose was a little to small, but I got it on eventually.

| Roger that, I do have a temp guage, and understand about the shroud cause I put one on mine too. I was curious about that black protective screen on the oil cooler and radiator. Looking at it a little closer I doesn't seem like it would hold mud in to bad. | |

| I don't have that little black thing on mine, I bought it without one.... so I don't have the issue without having it on... but I usually clean my radiator once a month but you gotta realize I got hood deep in water and mud on every ride... so mine stays nasty.. I know James's radiator shields did help with my temp and keep the splash off, but it channels the nasty stuff in when im boating with mine lol | |

The black screens come off with 4 screws.

Best mod so far on mine. till you bust a radiator hose and take a 200 degree shower in antifreeze lol I don't ride mud but the guy that owned mine before did.. and my rad has tons of bent up fins and no way its very efficient at all. same for my oil cooler

| I think the chance of busting a rad hose is minimal. I check the clamps when I service the machine. | |

| I just picked up the very same radiator for mine last week after putting a stick through it. hope it works well.
ETA-Dang, I meant to quote cruiserheads, his is the same radiator I bought, not OP's.
ETA 2- Also I've always wondered if a small hand pump pressure sprayer say a gallon or 2 for like garden sprays etc would be handy to have along to spray the radiator if needed when it's covered in mud. Anyone done this ever?

Anyone done this ever? I carry a Super Soaker when riding the atv parks, it comes in handy cleaning the rads... also fun for drive bys on the Honda guys.
