well guys last wk they did a coulture of Theresa's  wound, and of course the mrsa was back , so back on antibiotics , than yesterday the caring western md. health system called and told her since you wont be back in the 12 wk deadline because of the infection (from there OR) that they were posting her job and taking her benefits , really nice place huh, what the fuck next

Damn that's no good. Hope things turn in a better direction for y'all.

not surprised Mick, sorry to hear it bro, I've had some shitty things happen in my short life and was always told by my Mom and Dad, everything happens for a reason...hope she gets better soon!

That really sucks . Did you look into fmla ? Talk to a lawyer . I hate to say it and I know you probably hate to go that route but it looks like the only option.

 she was off the 12 wks after surgery on the fmla, a lawyer may be the next route wanting to me with a infection specialist about  any long term complications  of the mrsa infections then will see what happens after that

At my workplace, we have a 26 week limit.  Even if you are on fmla and have a terminal illness like the final stages of cancer, after the 26 weeks are up you are terminated and then you have one more month of insurance coverage, then you are on your own.  And if your doctor doesn't get the FMLA papers done right and on time, you are fired for attendance within 6 days of missed work.  I work over the mountain in VA, and VA is a "right to work state"  which means they have the right to fire you for absolutely no reason at all.  Check on that in MD before you go and file a lawsuit.  Also, where I work we have the lovely company handbook and at the bottom of each page it says they have the right to change any policy without notice and the handbook does not cover everything.

md is a "right to work state also" our bitch is this is all steming for an infection from there OR, or she would have been back to work wk's ago

If it's a comp claim and her doctor has not released her to go back to work, I don't see how they could screw her over.  That would be just asking for it.
