| are you a prepper? what are you preparing for? i do believe this country is headed for its second civil war do to the colapse of the government and the economy and i also prep for natural disasters. now i dont have a secret underground room or $20,000.00 worth of supplies put aside. i prep more for natural disaster the weather patterns these last couple years have been crazy. we dont get tornados or eathquakes here in south eastern pa and atleast once a month we are under a tornado watch and we have had 3 minor earthquakes in the past 2 years. right now i have a 3 -4 months supply of food , spring water and heat source for 6 people. i am also well stocked on protection. | |

| I think any man that has a family needs to have a plan to take care of that family in case of a disaster...it's irresponsible not to.
When hurricane sandy hit I was watching the news and saw people being interviewed 48hours after the hurricane hit stating they had no food or water and NEEDED help. How irresponsible do you have to be to not have 48hours worth of food and water storage?
I think prepping for the end of the world is a little nuts but I have a bug out bag and enough resources stored to take care of my family in case of a severe long term power outage. I also live in a region where there are a ton of natural resources to take advantage of...even in the winter.

I also live in a region where there are a ton of natural resources to take advantage of...even in the winter. in some cases the people who were close to the ocean got 100% flooded out loosing everything but on a second hand they knew the storm was coming and did nothing about it. I do have a bug out bag as well and in there is 72 hours of food and water for my family. its minimal but at least it something. - ASPENDELL ROVER wrote:

I also have a generator tied into my house via a sub panel and enough fuel always on hand. no sat phone but I do have a good set of Motorola walkie talkies.

| here is my one of my bug out guns. its a marlin .22wmr 25m it sports a bsa platinum 6-24x44 scope , 75ft of paracord , 2 - throwing knifes , __af_placement_id--[AFF-PLACEMENT-ID].html]flashlight , 50 rounds of ammo , __af_placement_id--[AFF-PLACEMENT-ID].html]bipod , nylon sling and 5 storage tubes which hold fishing string and hooks , waterproof matches , cable saw , asprin , batteries for flashlight and water purify tablets. the 2 tubes attacthed to either side of the barrel hold extra ammo. its hard brake line with rubber vaccume caps on each end .22`s fit perfect inside. I know the scope is huge for the gun. it was free.

| We have quite abit of stuff stored,we shop at Costco so there are big packages,I have the arms if required,we live in a high area pretty safe,we have had an ice storm with no power for fifteen days. But I am pretty sure we will be helping in the next disaster instead of needing the help.if its to bad I will head north. | |
