Videos behind my house

Finally got a little break in all the rain we've been getting earlier this week so my riding buddy Bo, my Aussi, and I took off for a little ride and I took the contour along to get some video.

I know it's not video shot from the Rhino but I've been riding the Rhino so much lately the ole King Quad has been getting no love, so I thought I'd ride the ole girl a little to charge the battery up, sounds like a good reason to ride to me lol.....

I have 4 parts but only 3 got uploaded to Youtube so far, I'll get the last one up as soon as I get a chance. I have satellite internet service and it takes a while to upload videos, wish I had a better option but for where I live it's my fastest and best option the only other being dial up lol....

Here's the 1st vid, this starts just out of my back yard and we end up at the lake.


The 2nd vid we start on the dam and ride over to the beaver dam on the feeder creek at the other end of the lake.


The 3d video I head down to the creek and take a ride up the creek, man the spiders were bad.....


You'll see me wiping the spiders and the webs from my face pretty often, and you can see one of them little boogers on his web when I'm in the creek just before I tear his web down, I hate them little boogers......

I have a fiberglass rod I use as a spider web catcher mounted on my front bumper but I have it removed right now to repair my bumper, reckon I'll have to expedite the repair lol.....

I'll get part 4 up as soon as I can, hope you enjoy them....

Nice videos.  What of Sc are you in ? I'm in Greenwood right now visiting my parents.

Well that's something special being able to ride behind your house, nice video, there are plenty of spider webs up here to, especially if your the first down for awhile.

I live in the Hickory Grove area, it's about 120 miles or so from Greenwood.

Greenwood is a nice area that's really growing, great hunting and fishing around that area.

You have Clark Hill lake, Lake Greenwood, Santee Cooper and Lake Murray all within a short driving distance, great fishing at all of those lakes.....

How long has your parents lived there?

I'm very blessed to have great neighbors that allow me to ride on their property, I cut approx. 95% of the trails about 25 years ago, we used to have a lot more miles but as some of the older folks pass away, their children seem to sale off the land and it ends up posted, the older folks are a lot more willing to share their land....

I hate spiders, you can run through and take out their webs and come back through 20 minutes later and they're right back in the middle of the trail again ready to ambush you lol...

I can't get the Rhino down some of the creeks back here, just wide enough for the 4 wheeler in spots.

I rode about 20 miles yesterday in the Rhino and did about 10 miles this afternoon in it with my wife and my riding buddy Bo in the bed, he absolutely loves to ride...

Your right Gyrene its getting more difficult to access private property, so I ride mostly on club trails they make all the arrangements with the property owners, respect for the land is everything. We don't have any parks like Hatfield McCoy around here.

My mom was born in Greenwood but moved to Md when where she met my dad.  They moved back when they retired about 10 yrs ago.   They have a house on Clarks Hill lake and Greenwood. My aunt has a house on Lake Greenwood.

You have 2 great vacation destinations in the same area, great striper fishing on both lakes and the hybrids are hot on Clark Hill, can't forget the crappie fishing is great on both lakes too..... They're all some good eating, now I'm craving fish lol...

I used to be a member of a club that was only 16 miles from my driveway, we had 80 miles of trails, a full hook up campground with a nice bath house and a real nice club house where we had live bluegrass music (at least 5 + bands) the second Saturday evening of every month.

Unfortunately the club president, who lived next door to the club property, wouldn't enforce the rules and allowed some of the members and their guest to ride all night hooting and hollering keeping the neighbors up all night, it boiled over and the club was dissolved. Boy do I miss riding at that place......

Great picture, sorry about your club, here the law is no riding near buildings after 11:00pm.

Thanks!!! I sure miss riding there, had several big creeks to ride in and 2 big rivers also on the property.
