| 1) I don't want to put my 30" Bighorns back on the Rhino 2) The ported head makes the 734cc top end rip I lined up with a guy in a new Ranger 800. It wasn't even a race. I can't imagine what the power must be like with that JBS super crankshaft and 25" tires. | |

| Chris when you went to the ported head after you had already ran your 734 for a little bit did you notice any loss in your take off,low end, and mid range power since your top end was better? | |

| No, no loss anywhere that I noticed.
I am real funny about my low end power since most of my riding is tight woods and river bottoms where speeds are below 40MPH. A 20MPH increase in top end would not be worth even a small loss in bottom end power for me. I love gut-wrenching acceleration from a stand. The ported head lets the motor rev faster and harder. For me, this makes for great bottom end and mid range power.
While this motor turns my 30s with no problems whatsoever, running those 26s again was the first time I truly got to realize the sheer power of this build. The 700 motor can be built to make some decent power - not cheaply I might add - but it is strong and reliable. It says something about a motor to withstand continual dunkings in the water, constantly going from 200F to 100F in only seconds, to go from idle to WOT over and over all day in 95F heat. My thanks go out to people like Alba Racing and JBS who have shared their Rhino building experience openly. There is no way I'd have a Rhino like this without JBS or Alba.

| Haha! If I lived in WV, then all my "weird Internet friends" as my wife says, would become all my weird riding buddies.
I think me and Eric (Banchee) need to make a trip up there. You know bring a little Texas and Louisiana southern redneck hospitality up to the mountains. lol

| LMFAO! I can hear the banjos already...
Maybe the WV boys in the compound could come down south for a trip. Can't you write that off as a business expense, James? You'd be headed back north with mud grips, snorkels, and sweet tea.
It's probably better we all live thousands of miles away. I know of I lived anywhere near y'all, I'd never get a damn thing done.
