| So I traded my stock airbox intake and cvt intake/exhaust for a snorkel set-up. 2" CVT intake/exhaust but only 1.5" air intake. It seemed to run fine with this set-up but I had a feeling one 1.5" was not enough air so I made a 2" setup, still runs fine. FWIW, I also have a K&N filter. How do you know if you have to re-jet. Only pic I have of the 1.5" setup. | |

| If its running fine then go with it. I know for 660's you do need 2" intake for the carb. Just make sure they sealed. We stick a vacuum in it and put it on blow. And soapy water spray it down. | |

| That's a good idea, the vacuum. It dies as soon as I cover up the intake with my hand. I'm taking it out tomorrow, so hopefully it will do alright. | |

| is yours the 660 or 700 fi , with my 660 stoker caught the devil getting it right ended up running 3 in to get enough air | |

| you can use the vacuum or a smoke machine... fill them with smoke and the smoke will find the leak... promise.. | |
