don't run a snorkel on mine but my go 2 sealent for about everything is good 100% silicone, like clear or black, my 2 cents, you can fix about anything with silicone and gorilla tape (heavy duty duct tape)

I have had good luck with the clear silicone sealant (not gasket maker) on my air box lid when I was snorkeled and on the CVT case gasket. I have noticed that my CVT cover leaked a bit after opening it a half-dozen or more times to tune the clutch.
I use a very small bead, like the size of a pencil lead. All you want to do is seal up the imperfect mating surfaces. If you go crazy with that stuff, well good luck getting those pieces separated. lol
Others have found some brands of heavy grease work well to seal up things without sticking. The regular old clear silicone has worked excellent for me because it seals and it is easy to remove and disassemble parts for service.
My 2 cents
