| Very possibly running to lean. And that is dangerous. Can melt down a good motor. The "for sure" way to find out would be an Air / Fuel gauge. The other way is a little trial on error (running a bigger main jet in Your carb).
Before we get crazy tho, tell us about Your machine....aftermarket CDI ? Sheave kit? any mods to the carb or intake? After market exhaust?

| good point ok motor has been rebuilt .5mm over, msd cdi, stock carb and alba exhaust but about 2 years ago I was riding in north florida with stock exhaust and noticed the same deal I figured it was just from altitude change as I reside and ride mainly in far west tx sadly I never paid attention to it much until the other night back to motor lol its basically stock no major mods although would like a jbs sheave in near future | |

| I'm thinking You will want to rejet the carb.
Lets see what others think about this. Lots of very good 'motor heads' on here that know it better than I do.
