| Ok this was super easy only took me a few hours! I used these measurements didnt want to much in case i ever sell it to a tall guy lol : Before! After!!!! Pieces removed: I cut the front pieces right above the weld and grinded the weld down and bolted them back on the front of the bike, then tacked the back pieces with the bend on the cage, then cut the slit in the top front bend by grab bars, then sit the cage on to make my front pillar bend Once i liked the fit i tacked the cage to the front pieces, pulled the cage down, and welded it all up, grinded the welds and painted them, I also cut all the back brackets off for the seat belts and the rear cross bar with head rest, im doing rzr seats in a few days, i left the small slits cut for wiggle room bolted the cage back on, then welded slits, grinded and painted. Like i said it was really simple i used humps idea for the front slits and it worked perfect and made the job faster, im gonna bed line the cage and that will hide the uneven powder coat and grinds!!! Any help yall just ask. | |

| Way to go. That didn't take long, you were just getting ideas a little bit ago. Looks good. You should consider at least one bar across the back to help keep it from folding up on you in a crash. Even something really thin would help a lot and not add much weight. Glad it went good for you. It's a little scarry at 1st when you start cutting. | |

the guy i got it from did the delete he said that was the best mod he did, that bed is heavy man i cant move it by myself im gonna redo the delete and make it look a lil better but i cant just imagine the increase, i notice a lil more accell when i removed my 2 tow hitches and receivers, seat belts, front bumper, grab bars under seat, top, and winshield, it felt way lighter and agile and this was with no bed on it already. and now with no back support and rzr seats ill be loosing even more weight along with the sheave she should scat now!!! im ready to race my buddys rzr again!!!

| Sounds good. I was thinking of doing a bed delete with some plastic in there just to keep the mud off of my back glass and out of my beer. Looking to carry a spare tire/wheel and would like to lose the weight of that and then some if at all possible. Maybe make a bedside mount with spare holder in it. I would like to keep the tailgate for looks. Every pound does help. How much and is it worth it is the question. I guess there's only one way to find out.
Anyone know what the bed box weighs??

| she is at least 200 pounds, i come from building race cars and always heard that every 100 pounds is about a tenth of your time, when u get a chance take it for a top speed run or some quick corners, then remove bed and do the same !!! i heard our bike only have 22 hp and u know there heavy as hell | |

| Did you try fitting it together without cutting the slits? Or do you have to do it to make it fit? Just thinking for strength. | |

I had no luck at all trying that. Almost destroyed my cage trying to take the bend out without cutting. Don't be afraid to cut and weld it up. It's not going anywhere.
