vent lines

does any one know what the vent lines (at least they appear to be vent lines) are for on the throttle body and behind the water pump?? ive got an 08 700. the one behind the water pump is actually on the case and not the pump and sometimes has some really nasty black oil drip from it. im wondering if i should run these up or what to do with them bc im snorkeling the bike. thanks in advance

the one on the bottom is at the water pump...it can leak oil or water depending on what seal is leaking...we have them in stock....

thanks james. ill get it from you when i place my next order bc i need some other stuff too. whats the one on the throttle body for? and do i need to run them up?

its a breather..yep run it up then turn them down
