On close out and I need a winch mount anyway. The receiver in the front would be handy.

there's a guy at the camp i go to that has one welded in.
they come in real handy if you're given the task of taking boats to the dock. it's just easier to see pushin' them in.

If I read the description right, it's both a winch mount and the 2". Heck that is cheaper than just a winch mount. Just wondering about quality?

Just looked at the web address; says they're no longer available, must have sold them out? Most winch plates come with a receiver plate, and yes they are handy. Check with 'Flimmy' on here, he sales winches and might be able to set you up with the receiver hitch similar to what you were looking at.

I bought the Yamaha factory receiver hitch mount for $75 bucks.  It's a lot beefier than that one.  My winch didn't quite fit it so I bought a receiver mount winch and carry my winch in the bed.  It's nice to be able to pull from either end of the vehicle.

i just bought a 2 in receiver extension and welded it in with some support.  Then I made my plow mount with the male end of a 2" receiver.  I can throw my plow on and be ready to push snow in under 30 seconds.
