| Hello, I'm another immigrant from "that other forum" I have been wanting to get a GPS for my Rhino, I have been using my netbook running Delorme software, but I'm hoping to get something a little smaller...around a 5 inch screen. I want to be able to download topographic maps to it, and it would be nice to have a track back feature..... I have consulted with the Googles....however they tell me way too much info...too many features and models to sort through. Does anyone have any recommendations or favorite units that you personally use? Thanks, Mike | |

| I think the best one out was the Nuvi 500. It had streets topo long battery and was waterproof. Talked to the Garmin rep this Sunday and they don't have any equivalent. He recommended the Montana 650t. | |

| I have the dakota 20 garmin. It uses regular batt, rechargeable batt , or u can run off your 12v adapter. It seems to work well and you can add extra memory to store different areas you ride in. | |

| I have a Lowrance 540c mounted in the dash, it has a 5" color screen. I love it!
Also, I have the Garmin Etrex 20 handheld. It's used for Geocaching | |
