New toy

Just picked up a new toy I've been looking for for almost 10 years and finally found one! It's an old model ruger bearcat and its in great condition!

Nice Pistol. How old is it? I figure at 10 years. Looks to very well taken care of.

if that's the real serial number it was shipped in 1966.

Yep 1966. It is in beautiful shape fir its age! Got it for 300! I would have paid 500 and felt good about it. Anybody who knows about these, knows that they are hard to find. At least in my part of the world. My dad has two of the old models just like it and it is my favorite pistol from when i was a kid.

Here is another group I picked up a little while back. The 1894 is a 25-35 in decent shape except someone shortened the stalk and installed a recoil pad. According to buffalo bill museum in Cody wyo it was manufactured in 1923. Cool old gun. The smith is a 19-3 357 that is mint. Not sure it was ever shot! Then a beretta 92 fs that I kept for about 2 days and flipped it for a 243 rifle with a nice piece of glass on it. Just a couple of the latest deals.

Not really. But, I've been buying ammo for about 15 years and powder primers and lead since Obama took office the first term. I still buy whatever I can find at stores and on the local gun forums.

ya me too, I have a good surplus but don't shoot much anymore cus I cant find it and refuse to pay the prices they want at gun shows. i used to get .223 1000rds for 2-300 now its 500 for 500, what a joke.

Yep it's hard to find. Every once in a while you can still get it cheaper but you gotta be ready to buy when it comes around.

nice gun-guns just saw yesterday at local shop had 223 for 1.50 per round they fuc***g crazy but pic rounds up when I find half ass price on it. but the bearcat what cal. is it for year it is it looks awesome very kool

Its a 22lr. They are a small frame and are very cool!

Nice bunch of guns, don't let safe space slow you down, buy another safe (or two). The cure for the ammo shortage is a Dillon and load your own, and it costs you less than half what you pay retail. If you got guns you gotta shoot them
