| New to the forum and new to UTV. Been riding dirt bikes for years and have seen Rhinos and RZRS where we ride. Looks like fun so took the plunge on a 2008 SE Rhino. First thing I noticed was the motor revs pretty high before any forward motion so I'm looking into a JBS sheave. Never even heard of a sheave before (except for wheat)! | |

| Welcome aboard!!! You're on the right track! Depending on what your rhinos been through there can be dirt or mud in your sheave slowing you down also. | |

| Hello scotearl ! Welcome to the forum.
How many miles are on Your rhino?
Do You know if the CVT has been service ? If the sheaves are gummed up, it will cause it not to go all the way to low and cause higher rpm's to get it to move. Kinda of like taking off in second gear. The JBS Hotrod sheave is the best thing You can do for a rhino. Better low end, better engine breaking, increased top speed, smoother operation of the CVT...... | |

| Go with james sheave and ome belt, or you mite just need some maint.s on the sheave. He and has wife are great to work with!!! it all cost money but the sheave is a great investment. | |
