| I had 45 miles showing and no bar on fuel gauge(well back and forth from no bar to one). Only put 4.5 gallons in tank when I filled it back up. Manual says it hold 7.93 gallons. Sounds like my fuel gauge is off a little. On the 07's does the fuel bar flash or just don't show nothing when low? | |

| I get about 40-50 miles out of a tank of fuel. I ride until it starts flashing and then ride a little more because the gauge seems kinda conservative. It seems like there's 1.5 gallons after my fuel gauge starts flashing. But I usually get about 40-50 miles between fill ups. | |

| When I ride the Rhino hard on the trails it can get about 110-115 km's,ride relaxed and easy like when hunting,200 km to a tank, about 70 miles riding hard and about 120 when ridden slower.15.5 mpg | |

| Wow, I have an 09 700, it has some JBS koolaid but not a big bore. Many of my trips are around 80 miles, probably 50% roads and 50% trails, but I have never had less than a single bar on the guage. Even then when I filled it up it never has taken more than 6 gallons. | |

I have found several other Rhinos that the E-Brake was hanging up and dragging. I did put a air-fuel gauge on mine and really tweaked the MSD control, but that was for power not mileage. I think since I put the sheave and cam in I have my foot in it more often than before.

I doubt it !! It becomes much more fun to drive and you get on it more! I did not see any real change in mileage that I noticed until I put the cam and MSD in mine. I for sure don't get as much mileage now but still not bad. The Razrs I ride with are always using their spare gas before we get back. I have added my gas (2 gallons I have under my seat) only one time when we did 100+ miles on a ride. After that ride is when I filled it up with 6 gallons.

| My fuel gauge started to flash and 5.5 gal filled it up 2 miles later. How far I can go depends on how I run it. If I'm on a very rough rocky trail just crawling along and speeds never go over 20, I seem to run forever before the fuel gauge goes down anymore. Running it hard where the trails allow, using 4x4 some, and climbing some long hills at over half throttle for miles, I would think that I would get about 70 or a little more out of a tank. Running the absolute hell out of the 450 I had, it would shut down at 68-74 miles on a tank.
Last time I rode with James we stopped to top off before going on a long ride and we both held just over $14. I think his was capable of using more, but I was holding him up so he wasn't as hard on the throttle as me.

| Hey Vern, next time you get to the lowest level on the gauge, fill it up and see what it will hold. I bet you are no where near empty. If you are running it until it's dry and quiting at 40 miles, there is no way I would ever want to ride with you. | |

| I got one of these for my rhino and it seems REALLY accurate. it goes from the bottom of the tank all the way to the top so you get a accurate full reading and empty reading. Also they thing i like about it is there is no long arm like most fuel sensors....rides up and down the pole Rhino Fuel Sender | |

| Very interesting thread. I have only had this thing for 8 months or so, and I wondered if my range was normal - bought my 07 Sport used, and it has been modded some, just not sure what all was done beyond the obvious intake and exhaust changes and bigger wheels/tires. It DOES move real good - easily reached about 60 MPH before I choked down the exhaust some to cut the damn noise! Still will hit 50. Have never even pulled the plug to check for color.
Anyway, I use this thing daily, about 1/3 work around the ranch and 2/3 mid-speed run out to the mail box (about 4 miles). "Mid-speed" means anywhere from 30 - 45 MPH, and there are lots of hills in the road. I live above 7,000 feet. I have never seen my fuel gauge flash, but I did push one tank about 20 miles past the last bar and it still only took about 6 gallons to fill. Got about 100 miles on that tank. Seemed low to me, but now I see it is as good or better than what others are reporting. Thanks for the info to compare it against.
