fan shroud

Ok so I got a fan shroud... the holes that hold the actual fan on are not threaded... it came with 4 nuts and 4 bolts... so I'm assuming that I will have to pull the radiator to get this installed cuz I obviously cant get to the backs of the nuts/bolts once the shroud is attached to the radiator... I wanted to know has anyone else done this and ... if i remove the pass side shock can i fit the radiator back in with the shroud and fan installed on the radiator?

Yup pull the shock...it's the easiest way to get it to fit.

Just put mine on a couple of days ago.  It would not fit thru the frame members when fully assembled. 

it took me a while to figue it out, but once the whole shebang was assembled I had to remove the top brace to get it to fit thru.  It was fairly simple to slide the top brace in and re-attach the top 3 bolts to the brace after the rest was in place.  

BTW, I also had to drill new holes in the shroud, since my stock fan didn't line up.

Also the whole thing leans against the front brake line manifold.  I don't think it will hurt anything, but I'm not thrilled about it!

So got my shroud on desentiis was correct you need to remove to top bracket to get it slid back into place. All I have to say is wow my fan used to run for like 30 to 40 seconds at a time at an idle and now it runs for maybe 10 15 seconds . This shroud is a must have item for sure.
