Looking for tip

need to get the fan pulley off the crank so i can remove stator cover.

anyone have a trick on how to keep engine from turning over so i can loosen.

i do not have impact or primary sheeve wrench/holder.

done it in the past but always had jug off engine so i used piece of wood inside case to keep crank from turning

the piece that the exhaust hanger cooling fan bolts to on passenger side. I think the manual calls it a fan pulley.

the pulley is bolted directly to the end of crank.

Gotcha, I just took off the cover, had my buddy hod the fan and I unscrewed it. Was real easy, left the fan off and the cover, bogs the rhino down in mud and water. If u don't have an extra hand just take a half inch dowel rod or a 1x2 or something similar and wedge it in between a fan blade and the bottom of the skid plates, apply pressure with the socket and it should spin right off.
