| Okay guys need some advice. My 06 660 is puking coolant past the rad cap Into the overflow and out onto the firewall. The hot light was not on and the fan was running. Rad was decently clean. Only did it when engine temps were hot. I recently relocated my rad horizontally up on the frame rail And rode it quite a bit with no issues in fact I was happy that I did not get a plug Rad. Oil is clean no coolant there. There is not very much clearance between the rad and the hood. Is it possible that there wasn't enough air flow and the coolant boiled over in the rad. Could it be a week rad cap. | |

| Could be boiling the coolant if the air flow is weak in its new position, that is my guess. Can you post a pic of where the radiator is mounted now? The rhino stock cooling system isn't the best in stock form, slight modification could cause an issue. | |

| So I've kind of come to the conclusion that I do not have enough air flow where the rad is mounted up on the frame rail. Beings is it only overheated when it was very hot outside I have a feeling that I need to get some air up to that rad. I burped the system so no airlock anymore, But I think a hood scoop is the next add-on. Ordered one on eBay that will fit the front just fine. Won't be riding it in any hot weather till next year so will post pics and report on performance then. | |
