I swung back by and took a couple more pics.  Only a couple more pieces left and then back to the Yamaha shop for my Rackzilla rack.  I know the pics suck.

looks kinda top heavy, added weight to the cage, lifted with the narrow wheel base, but if your happy thats all that matters, just my opinion, but I'm not a racer...lol

I didn't add as much weight to the top as you might think.  I pulled out 15ft of the factory cage and used less than a full stick of the DOM.  I would say I added 50lbs up top, and I probably added 60lbs to the bottom when I changed tires.  I think the front is probably the same width since I went with wider tires up front, but I definitely lost some in the rear.  I was really careful with it when I first got it back but it sticks to the ground well, especially after I took the rear sway bar back off.  There won't be any more racing for this rig unless it's straight uphill climbs.  If I still have it after the first of the year I will probably start looking for some used midtravel and power steering.

Yeah..come on Kevin...its for the "family" LOL.  Then the Rhino can go into full race set up and stay that way!

The rhino is finally back to badass status. I will post up finished ppics tomorrow after I paint the cage. I absolutely love the rackzilla rack. I didnt realize how shitty my stock rack was until now. There is no play at all and I dont have to worry about breaking tie rod ends.

Cage work is finished and painted, full front windshield installed, lift kit removed, swapped roofs with Rodney, Rackzilla rack installed, Uni filter with UTV Inc billet adapter installed, changed oil to Yamalube synthetic with ester, installed harnesses Banchee gave me.  Finally ready to trash on it again.

Like what you did with the stock cage. Did you think about chopping it at all?

My initial goal was to chop it but it just measure up right to do it for me to have enough clearance.

We made a 37 mile trek through some pretty tight trails today at Mill Creek in Arkansas.  It was a lot of fun.  It started off 43 degrees and super foggy when we met and ended up about 60 degrees and overcast which made it perfect.  All the Rhinos worked perfect today.  I need to start looking into my suspension.  With the 8ply tires I have my compression backed all the way out to try and take out some of the harshness but it's bottoming out now with the lift kit off.

Nice picture, good looking group, our leaves are gone and its -10 tonight.
