| I hadnt planned on building doors this weekend....but saturday about 11am i thought "i might as well build my upper doors because winter will be here soon". I built the passenger side one and then thought "i dont really like the lower doors all that much and i was going to build new ones of those anyway so i may as well just build them now". So I built my lower doors and didnt do my upper doors yet just because i ran out of time. Its all built out of 1" square steel tubing with 1/8" aluminum skin. They definitely weigh more than the stock doors but thats ok because of the extra protection and they are up nice and high now. I used the stock hinges and latch for the time being but i will change all that stuff out later. I also slapped a piece of aluminum up on the rear cage for a roof for the kiddos. Next thing to do is finish the upper doors and cover the rear cage in vinyl to make a snap on cover for it. Here is the only picture i took of it for the time being.
