| Hello,
Have been reading for a week or two now. Just got a Rhino 660, as I have been wanting one for some time now. Bought a a gently used 660 from a local dealer November 16th. Was sold as a 2007, but I have my suspicions that it is a 2006. The VIN leads me to beleive that it is an '06 as well as the lack of digital dash and the cage bolt set up.
I raced motocross for 10-12 years, so I know my way around the powersports world and carbs.
Already added a Dynatek CDI, Twin-Air replacement air filter, and new tires. Still have to go through the carb and get it set to run to it's peak. Been looking to do a sheave and spring, and maybe even slug the wet clutch. The machine came with a Yamaha Plastic Roof, and windshield.
Looking forward to getting to play with my new toy.

| Welcome, I'm liking the name lol that's what I call my Rhino. My sheave was the best thing I did to mine since it already had a Dynatek CDI when I bought it. It gets up and scoots now, last weekend with 2 adults on dirt I was hitting 54 mph with the stock motor, Sheave, orange secondary spring and OD weights. I will have a Stroker in it by the end of today so we will see what that brings. | |

| Thanks for the warm welcome.
Flimmy, I would like to get a price on a Viper Elite Wide Spool Rhino Kit with Red Syn Cable. I don't see that I have the ability to send a PM right yet, so if you can send to me, that would be great.
I am planning on getting a JBS Sheave and Orange Spring when I get back from some fine Army Training in March. I hear that James is the guy with the info here.
Without cleaning and jetting the carb, just installing a CDI and clean air filter with the '04 RAIS, I was able to increase my speed from 35-36 with only my wife (going slightly down hill) to 45 with my brother and loaded up with hunting gear on a flat road. Can't wait to get the carb straightened out and the clutching taken care of.
Forgot to add to Crusty...the name comes from a combo of racing motocross for a number of years with the same number and my nickname.

| Nice, I raced motocross for years as well but broke my neck when I cased a triple about 8 years ago and have had 3 spinal surgeries so far. I sure miss it. | |

| Crusty,
I miss racing moto very badly. I have tried to find something that gives the same feelings, but haven't been able to yet.
I quit racing on October 28th, 2007. I crashed super bad right in front of my mother on her 60th birthday. She had never seen more than a blown corner, and she got to see (close up) me blwo out both wrists, both knees, and break my nose. I also got run over a NUMBER of times while I layed on the track unable to move. This was all from a double-double that you had to commit to early in order to make.
Trying R/C cars, Harleys, and now the Rhino.
