| Ammo can is under the seat. Stays underwater, not a single leak. | |

iPods for sure. Some guys run them direct to an amp, some through a stereo.

| So what is all needed for an Ipod/Iphone to amp direct install, off of a stock battery.
Marine grade amp, any minimum Watts etc? Speakers, would 2 between 5-7" work good?, any particular brands.
How about wiring and install location, I'm thinking roof would be best as I use glove box, but since I have a under seat storage container, I could use glove box for the amp also.
I am only a lowly CNC machinist and am not good with wiring or electronics at all, so as much info as possible is appreciated. Thanks!!

What type of amp am I looking for that will take the ipod/iphone or MP3 accessories,or is it simply an AUX jack location in the amp itself? 300 W should be good also than for amp? I've read about a voulme control, is that needed or will the Ipod be able to control the volume? I've been looking at www.tigerdirect.com just to see whats available.

| on mine , I have a simple wire / adapter that goes from dual RCA plugs to 1/8 th in stereo plug. You can find them almost anywhere. The RCA's plug in to amp and the 1/8th stereo jack plugs in to anything with a headphone jack. | |

OK. Looks like this Pyle amp below has everything needed. now just need to find speakers.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6620233&CatId=5239 looks like a good choice !

| The problem I had with speakers in the middle was all of the sound was in one ear. Drove me crazy !!! Now I have 2 in the middle and one on each side of driver or passenger. Sitting in either seat, You get a good balance from ear to ear. | |
