5+2 offset questions

Okay I have a set of ITP wheels and all four have the 5+2 offset on them.

I have a 2012 700 that is stock except for the wheels. I am currently running mudlites 26x10x12s in the front and 26x12x12s in the rear. I hate how far the rears stick out and how bad the mudlites wear. I think I have decided to go with the same width tire on all 4. My question is if I run the same size tires on all four with the 5+2 offset how will they sit on the machine? Will the rears still be a bit wider, will the fronts then be wider, or will they stick out evenly? I have read way too many posts trying to figure this out and I cannot seem to grasp it.

I am still undecided if I want to go with 9s all the way around or 10s. I do a lot of soft ground riding so I feel like I need the extra width.

Any advice/tips/helps appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would think that they would be even if the rims are the same

If you have 5+2 offset and don't like the rear. The easiest fix is to remove the wheel spacers in the rear. That will move each wheel in 2". The other option is getting wheels with a 4+3 offset. You can also get a 1" wheel spacer. It's difficult to tell you excactly what will happen, to many tire/rim combinations. Ask for pics of tires down the sides showing how much hangs out. Might give you a better idea.

I don't think the width of the frt and rear with stock rims/tires is the same. The rear is a bit wider a believe.

The front wheel mounting surface hub to hub is 2 inches wider than rear I run 4/3 off set all around and just installed 1 inch rear wheel spacers. Makes center of tire track the same. Hope that helps.

I did the same with one inch spacers. I have 14x8 ITP rims with 5+2 offset and 28x10 tires all around and ended up at 58"outside on the front and back

I forgot to mention that it was a 2012 and I replaced the 2" rear spacers with the 1" ones.
