Is the nut off and you're trying to get the sheave off the shaft? Or are you trying to get the nut broke loose?

The nut was off, I was trying to get the sheave off the shaft, got that off now, who's bright idea was it to put that brace there. Now I'm trying to get the nut to break free from the wet clutch, got the drum housing off just need to get the 1" nut off now to pull the wet clutch. It's one thing after another I tell ya.

That helps then so the 660 is standard thread, how hard was it to break free? Any secrets? It's my last nut and in at the home stretch..

No not yet, kits should be here tomorrow, but opened up wet clutch cover to get ready for slugs, sent pics to James and he said its on its last leg so I ordered a new one today for the 660. He said it will ship today and hopefully by Friday I have it. If not Monday it is. I HATE WAITING FOR SANTA...santa

Mike that is a pretty good idea, might get out the welder and fab something up. I don't know who the genius was to weld a bar there that can't be removed for easy servicing of the clutch but he should be fired.
