Has anyone looked at or used Dynatek Rhino 700 Fuel & Ignition 2008-2012 DFS7-33 with a Dyna Tune kit DT-1. If so how did you like it.

Info on the Controller DFS7-33

WIRE CONNECTIONS:

To insert wires into the Dynatek F.S. fi rst remove the rubber plug on the

backside of the unit and loosen the screw for the corresponding input.

Using a 22-24 gauge wire, strip about 10mm from its end. Push the wire

into the hole of the

Dynatek F.S. until is stops

and then tighten the screw.

Make sure to reinstall the

rubber plug.

NOTE: If you tin the wires

with solder it will make

inserting them easier.

DYNATEK F.S.

INPUT ACCESSORY GUIDE

NOT USED

DYNATEK F.S. MODULE INPUTS

Input 1 and input 2 are used for switches. The switches must be confi gured in the Dynatek

Control Center software.

Map: The Dynatek F.S. has the ability to hold two different base maps. You can switch on

the fl y between these two base maps when you connect a switch to input 1 or 2.

You can use any open/close type switch. The polarity of the wires is not important.

The Dynatek F.S. is compatible with Dyna Tune autotune. When using Dyna Tune

autotune, one position will hold a base map and the other position will let you

activate the learning mode. When the switch is “CLOSED” Dyna Tune autotune will

be activated. (Set to input 1 by default.)

Shifter: These inputs are for use with a Dynatek quickshifter. Insert the wires from the

Dynatek quickshifter into input 1 or 2. The polarity of the wires is not important. (Set

to input 2 by default.)

Speed: If your application has a speed sensor then you can tap into the signal side of the

sensor and run a wire into this input. This will allow you to calculate gear position

in the Dynatek Control Center software. Once gear position is setup you can alter

your map based on gear position and setup gear dependent kill times when using a

quickshifter.

Analog: This input is for a 0-5v signal such as engine temp, boost, etc. Once this input is

established you can alter your fuel curve based on this input in the Dynatek Control

Center software.

USING DYNATEK CONTROL CENTER SOFTWARE

Insert the CD provided into your computer’s cd-rom drive. The launch program will run

automatically. If auto-run is disabled, double-click the My Computer icon then double-click

the CD drive icon. Double-click Control Center.exe to manually start the CD.

Click Install Software and follow the on-screen instructions to install the Dynatek Control

Center software. The Dynatek Control Center software will be stored in C:\Program Files\

Dynatek Control Center.

Click Map Database. All maps will automatically be installed to the C:\Program Files\

Dynatek Control Center\maps folder.

Connect the USB cable from the computer to the Dynatek 3000. Verify the cable is fully

seated in the Dynatek F.S.

Run the Dynatek Control Center software by double-clicking the program icon installed on

your desktop or on your start menu. Click Open Map File and select a map fi le. Click Send

Map.

The values in the fuel table represent a percentage of fuel change over stock. A value of 10

in the table indicates at that throttle position and RPM range the vehicle will be 10% richer

than stock. A value of 10 in the ignition table indicates at that throttle position and RPM

range the ignition timing will be advanced 10 degrees from the stock timing. The Dynatek

Control Center software allows a fuel table adjustment of +250 to -100 and an ignition table

adjustment of +20 to -20 in each cell.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the STATUS LED does not come on when the ignition is switched on, there is no power to

the Dynatek F.S. Make sure that you have the ground connected properly either directly to

the battery ground, or to a lug on the frame that is grounded.

If the LED comes on, but the vehicle does not run on all cylinders, double check all

connections at the injector, making sure the connectors are seated properly.

Info on the Dynatune DT-1

The DynaTune kit when used with a corresponding Dynatek Fuel and Ignition

Module allows the bike to be automatically tuned to a target air/fuel ratio. To use

this feature you must first enable DynaTune in the Control Centter Software.

Most maps from Dynatek will include a base Target AFR table. These settings are

intended to deliver optimal performance while still maintaining decent fuel

mileage in the cruise area (for most models).

To alter the AFR target click on Target AFR in the tree view. Expand each cylinder

and/or gear if necessary to view the corresponding table. If necessary type in

different values in the cells. Multiple cells can be highlighted by using click/drag

with the mouse.

It is recommended to load a base map into the Dynatek Module that best

corresponds to your bikes current configuration. This will decrease the time in

which it takes for the DynaTune module to achieve its target air/fuel.

A switch can be wired into the Dynatek Module to be used to toggle between
your base map and learning mode. Any SPST (open/close) type switch can be

used. When the switch is OPEN the Dynatek Module will be running on the base

map. When the switch is CLOSED the Dynatek Module will go into learn mode

and DynaTune will start making fuel trim adjustments.

You can toggle between these modes at any time. The values learned for the fuel

trims will be saved if you toggle back to the base map.

After a riding session you can view the Trim table by clicking on the respective

table in the tree view and clicking GET TABLE. To accept these trims and transfer

them into the Fuel map click on DynaTune - accept trims. This will zero out the

trim table(s) and add the trim values to the base map(s).

The Dynatek Module is configured to only allow the software to trim +/- 20%

until you manually accept the trims. You can alter these limits in the DynaTune

configuration. The more the Dynatek Module learns the lower you can make this

value. By lowering this value it will work as a safety net so if something should

go wrong in the unit or bike it will not cause the bike to run poorly.

From what i have read about this it will auto correct while you are driving or you can have it on a set tune. I was just looking for some opinions.
