X4 on the mr10

MR10 is mar resistant (the MR part) lexan sheeting. Pretty tough stuff from what i have seen.

So how about the best way to cut it anybody know ? I know it is double coated on both sides I was worried that by cutting it with a saw or something might mess the coating up ?

mr10 is the hard coat put on polycarb to keep it from scratching..

Don't know if it's the best way, but I cut my Lexan with a jig saw. No problems.

i think they recommend a good tape on both sides to keep "splintering" to a minimum

T Rhino, Think that's just good advice there with the tape. I needed to re-drill my shield holes for the support claps and tried drilling through the first hole a little fast and cracked the shield. I think a metal blade on a jigsaw like Firefighter suggested would be the way to go, just take it slow and let the saw do it's thing.

Thanks guys that's what I was worried about it splintering the tape should help with that just what I was looking for thanks for the help.

Yes ! Go slow ! Especially for drilling ! Cracked mine too when drilling, but it is small and has not gotten any bigger.
