| hey all, trying to pull my secondary off to install my spring and washers from james today and I've been trying for a few times now. I tried some penetrant and a puller with some bolts in the 6mm holes in the face light taps with wood and brass drift . heat and cool a few times. nada. any ideas newish to me rhino had no cover on it so who knows what cruddy corrosion is between shaft and secondary. any ideas? 2008 700. yes the nut and fan is all off. don't wanna break it. | |

| May have to find a way to tilt the vehicle pretty good to one side so the pentrating oil can run down in between the shaft and the secondary. Sounds like shes frozen good | |

I will second that, let it soak over night or two if needed. Then smack it lightly with a nylon or rubber hammer. | |

| Panter Piss should do the job, you ran a bolt in the secondary sheave to spread it some, that should help get some PP in around the shaft. Maybe spread it and loosen it; and repeat several times to work it a little bit. | |

| got it off just now had a little heat on it and I've been soaking pb blaster and wd and anything else i could find. had the puller on it with tension on the shaft and kept tapping the end of it had a friend keep some tension on the sheave so it didn't bounce and slowly it came... didn't really look all that bad once it was off shaft looked good. thanks for all who commented. | |
