Sunday afternoon spin

It has been raining alot here in Indiana for the last week. Flood warnings and all that fun stuff. Also I work alot and I havn't been able to take the Rhino out to play much. Sunday rolls around and its overcast and drizzling a little bit. I figured i would go out and play a bit in the Rhino and make a mess and just see what trouble i could get myself into. Fist i hit a creek/swap area on my property and the rhino did fine as i expected it would because this area is wet but still solid. I ran around some of the trails and then thought would see about cutting a new trail. well a came across a part of the creek that has cut a good deep section down. Its probably about 3 ft deep ( the cut not the water) and is no wider than about 4-6 feet at that place so its just big enough to get stuck in.....which I did. The Rhino was high centered on it belly like and EXTREMELY portly kid trying to do push ups....it just kind of teetered from the front to the back. I have a winch but in my stupidity i forgot to get the line out before jamming the whole front end into the creek bank. So after digging for about 10 min to free my winch line I unspooled and hooked up to a tree. It worked great and the Rhino was free of its trap. I did stop to take a picture of it while it was straddling the creek.

I ran back to the back set of trails and ran those a few times....then splashed in a mud a bit more and then home to let the mud drop in clumps onto my garage floor. I will clean the Rhino up later...along with my garage, but it was a good time to get out and play with the Rhino on a Sunday.

You have to love those times every time I plan on going out just for a short ride I end up doing something like that.
