The problem I had with speakers in the middle was all of the sound was in one ear. Drove me crazy !!! Now I have 2 in the middle and one on each side of driver or passenger. Sitting in either seat, You get a good balance from ear to ear.
hmmm, maybe I'll upgrade to the 4 channel amp for a lil more and get both sets of speakers then, the tower in the middle and 2 smaller ones on each side. I think I've got it now. At least they're cheap enough to experiment with for now.

Just a thought, but mine is only a 2 channel. I always bridge my amp anyway. I have the 2 over the drive on the left output and the 2 over the passenger on the right output.
Another thing is, it doesn't take a lot of power since the speakers are right above You head.

iPod for sure and I have my amp in the glove box. You can find good waterproof ipod to amp set ups on e-bay they are 300 watt most of them are set up for bigger street bikes.
What type of amp am I looking for that will take the ipod/iphone or MP3 accessories,or is it simply an AUX jack location in the amp itself? 300 W should be good also than for amp? I've read about a voulme control, is that needed or will the Ipod be able to control the volume?

Thought I'd take some pics of my setup after I finally got it washed and cleaned up. Garmin 76csx gps Ipod hooked into stereo w/remote Iphone for GoPro app. Rockford Fosgate 390w-5 channel amp w/crossover(old school!) 4-75w Pioneer 6" speakers 1-Rockford Fosgate 8" sealed sub(Pyle cover)
All Ram mounts (because they're the most solid) The GoPro is mounted at the top of windsheild with Ram mount as well. I find my Iphone isn't as clear playing tunes as my ipod. There seems to be some weird feedback from the iphone. Gps and iphone plugged into DC cause they eat batteries. Love the thump that the sub provides. Not overpowering, just right. All in all, I've got it just the way I like it. Hopefully I'll get some good GoPro vids this summer. [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img]
