No, you put the dash into diagnostic mode and use the d01 display to read the TPS numbers as you apply thottle. | |

| I was searching for reasons my check engine light came on the other day for no apparent reason and came across this topic. So I checked it out today before work and I was getting 16 & 85. Quick adjustment and up to 95 now. Thanks. No other trouble codes so I still don't know why my engine light was on. May be one of those damn salamanders from last week. Lol. Any idea on what all the other diagnostic codes or numbers are for when you scroll up thru the displays? Thanks again, very helpful post. Nick | |

| Wow what you can learn on this forum. I wasn't getting performance on my 2011 700 . Put JBS sheave kit in and was better, but still only 48 mph. Saw this about tps settings, so I checked mine. Wow 17 and 77. Will adjust cable tomorrow. Thanks for all the info guys | |

| Got tps adjusted to 17-96. Wow step on it and it gets with it, BUT. Top end went to hell. Starts cutting out at low 30's. Let off gas a little and speeds up to 41 or so. Put new plug in with same thing. Maybe time for new CDI if that will solve problem. Really happy with low end response however. | |

| Mine is 17 and 95. Can it get better, or should I just leave it alone?
