First thing to check is your fuel presure, You shouid have 40-45 at idle, and no more than 3 psi drop at WOT.

if your on stock CDI then your hitting the rev limiter more than likely because 70 kph is about 44mph. Thats where the stock rev limiter comes in at.

ok could be ,does the rev limiter sound like a 660 1? this pops, bangs, shuts down like its starving for fuel and i thought i might have got more top speed with the jbs sheave,it really struggles to hit the 70 kph and does the same thing wot tryin to climb hills not reaching 70kph,might need cdi? got 9 rhino buddies and they all have 660 that leave mine standin still thanks any ideas would be much appreciated

if the 660 is walking away from you it may not be the cdi. Did you get your sheave put in right? how many miles on the machine? How old is the belt? The CDI is going to stop you at 70 kph anyway so a CDI would be a good thing to look into regardless but if your machine isnt running right then I would attack that first. Im still leaning toward the CDI though. my 660 will run 83 kph with a sheave and cdi on stock 25" tires but before the sheave i stopped at 70 kph because of the rev limiter and it was MUCH higher RPM's when i was there

If it's all stock and youve had it for some time, It might be a good idea to check your Cam timing.

my dealer gave me a cdi to try but that didn't work . I'm starting to think my wet clutch may be slipping and I'm hitting the rev limiter

Yes his sound like his is revving allot higher than mine to , mine backfires a little to . IDK. I took mine to a shop and they said it was in the clutch , Wet clutch slipping at wot and hitting rev limiter?

still havent found the problem, ive tried another cdi and coil still the same, has anyone seen what kind of pattern the injector sprays fuel when removed from rhino ,i took mine out and held it about 5 inches away from clean paper and it sprays 2 , 1 inch round spots about 2 inches apart but there is 4 holes in injector this is at cranking speed,im using about half a tank of fuel for around,40km seems to much,im leaning towards stator or injector any one?????
