Just trying to figure out what speed to expect out of a 2012 700 with just a JBS sheave 18g weights and purple spring on 27" mud lites. Stock CDI for now until I can fiure out a way to order one without the wife knowing. I finally got to give it a run on flat pavement and it gets up and goes. In the room I have I hit 41. Gets there pretty damn quick now. Is this right? Wanting to make sure this is normal and that I did not screw something up.

I just put 27" tire on mine. It takes a long run to hit top speed for me, tires are heavy. I can hit 40 and still have throttle. I used to hit 48-50 with 25" tires. No other mods, just Hotrods sheave. I think you need a longer straight away.
